Access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene services remains a critical development challenge affecting public health, education, gender equality, and community well-being. Effective advocacy requires accessible, evidence-based knowledge products that translate technical research into actionable recommendations.
The assignment employed rigorous desk research, policy review, stakeholder interviews, knowledge synthesis, technical drafting, and validation workshops to translate complex data into practical resources.
The project successfully improved access to evidence-based information within the WASH sector, strengthening advocacy efforts aimed at improving water, sanitation, and hygiene services.
Eight high-value knowledge products—including Advocacy Briefs, Policy Summaries, and Evidence Review Reports—were delivered. These tools enabled development practitioners and policymakers to better understand sector challenges and contributed directly to informed decision-making and increased visibility of WASH issues affecting vulnerable populations.
