Rapid economic transformation requires a skilled workforce capable of meeting industry needs. Traditional training approaches often focus on theoretical knowledge. Competency-Based Training and Assessment provides a structured approach that focuses on measurable skills, performance standards, and workplace readiness.
The assignment employed a competency-based learning approach involving practical skills demonstrations, continuous assessments, performance-based evaluations, and industry-relevant mentoring activities.
The project successfully trained over 100 youth, delivering competency-based assessments that directly strengthened participants' technical capacities and practical competencies.
Beneficiaries gained hands-on experience, increased confidence, and market-relevant skills that enhanced their ability to compete within the labor market and succeed in entrepreneurial ventures. The initiative contributed to workforce development efforts in Sindh while supporting broader goals related to youth empowerment, economic participation, and sustainable livelihoods.
