Teachers play a central role in shaping learning outcomes and educational quality. However, evolving educational challenges require educators to continuously strengthen their professional competencies and adapt to modern teaching approaches. IRIS was engaged to facilitate professional learning opportunities to enhance instructional effectiveness and student-centered learning practices.
The assignment employed interactive workshops, experiential learning activities, case study discussions, group learning exercises, peer learning sessions, classroom simulation activities, and reflective teaching practices.
The project successfully trained over 500 teachers across multiple professional development cohorts, significantly strengthening the professional learning culture within Sindh's education sector.
Participating teachers reported increased ability to apply learner-centered approaches, improve classroom management, and create more inclusive learning environments. By promoting continuous learning and professional growth among educators, the initiative indirectly benefited over 20,000 students and strengthened institutional capacity across numerous educational institutions.
